This beautiful hike starts close to Huaraz at the Santa Cruz Bridge (3100 m.).we pass traditional Andean villages and local people on the way up. The lake is located in the Cordillera Negra, with spectacular and panoramic views of the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca.
