Itinerary
- Day 1:
We leave the city of Huaraz at 9:00 am heading south visiting the town of Recuay which still preserves its colonial-style streets and houses. Then we will visit Ticapampa and Catac where we will enjoy a coca tea in the well-known Zoroche. Then we took a detour through Pachacoto, a road towards the ravine. Then we arrived at a small lake called Patococha where many wild ducks migrate. Then we will meet at the Huascarán National Park where we will register to enter. Along the way we will have to see streams below Pastoruri. We will see the Puya Raimondi, which is the largest plant in the world. Then we will see a small lake called Pumapashimin. Then we will arrive at the bus station (4800m) where the walk to the glacier begins, which takes 1 hour, there are horseback riding; back to Huaraz at 6 pm.
