Tocllaraju is one of the most famous mountains in the Cordillera Blanca with an altitude of 6034 m. Access to this mountain is possible through the Ishinca Valley, one of the most famous and beautiful valleys of the Cordillera Blanca. We will also see other mountains such as Ishinka, Palcaraju and Urus that has a pyramid-shaped summit.
Itinerary
approximate walk: 4 – 5 hours
We will depart from Huaraz towards the north side to the town of Collón, through a plain along the entire Quebrada, the vegetation and the river of glacial origin will be what we will see on the way that takes us to the base camp of Ishinca.

We will leave early from our camp, the ascent to the high camp is by a zigzag uphill slope until we reach a rocky area towards the moraine and after a few hours of walking we will arrive at high camp where we will camp.
approximate walk: 10 – 12 hours
This day starts early with the mountaineering equipment. Upon reaching the base of the summit we prepare to climb, we will go through cracks, snow bridges and slopes until we reach the top of the mountain. From this summit we will see the other peaks of the Cordillera Blanca such as: Palcaraju, Ranrapalca, Ishinca, Urus, Akillpo, Copa, Huantsán, Ocshapalca, Vallunaraju and then descend to base camp.

We return from the base camp to the town of Collon where we wait for a bus that will bring us back to Huaraz.
