Tocllaraju is one of the best-known mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, it has an altitude of 6,034 meters above sea level, access to this mountain is through the Ishinca Valley, this valley is one of the most famous and beautiful within the Cordillera Blanca, also we can find other mountains like: Ishinca, Palcaraju, Urus, the summit of this mountain has a pyramid shape
Itinerario
We will depart from the city of Huaraz to the north side to the town of Collon, or Pashpa where we will start a walk that will take us to the base camp in the Ishinca valley where we will camp.
Saldremos de nuestro campamento muy temprano hacia la morrena, luego caminaremos alrededor de una hora sobre el glaciar hasta llegar al Campo I.
We left very early with the mountain team. Upon reaching the base of the summit, we get ready to ascend and reach the summit of the Tocllaraju mountain. From this summit we will appreciate other snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Blanca. We will descend to the base camp to camp.
We will return from base camp to the town of Collon where a bus awaits to return to Huaraz.
